Twice in a week to Seaton Carew

Got another opportunity to cycle out again this week with Blue Bell Riders. We took a slightly different route avoid the quagmire of earlier this week. It wasn’t quite so bright today and it was certainly windier but hayho just get on with it.
We had lunch sitting in the bus shelter. We took smoked cheese sandwiches and homemade chocolate cake, along with drinks from our flask. Others bought fish and chip lunches from The Almighty Cod.

Here we are just before setting off on the return journey.

On the way back we passed through the village of Cowpen Bewley which is reputed to have a village green that is more than 1000 years old. We also got a good view of the Transporter bridge and Roseberry Topping, a local well known hill.

I’m not sure if you can see them so well but they are both in this photo. Another lovely day.
