Scottish Summer Adventure day 11

Today is essentially a rest day as wehaf a 5 hour ferry crossing.
Peter Nicholson, the Croft 183 site owner gave us a lift to the ferry in Castlebay and we dozed a good part of the journey over the open sea. At about lunchtime, we were in familiar waters from sea kayaking and so enjoyed some reminicing while eating lunch. The lasagne was good but the garlic bread was well over cooked.
The weather has been warm and dry with little wind. Why when we were on the boat? Anyway, in Oban we had an icecream before setting out for the nearest campsite, Roseview which is well equipped but a bit impersonal compared to our last site. Tje road to it is all uphill though.
The tourist information place wasn’t too helpful but we inend riding Sustrans route 78 , if we can find it.
