Blast from the past.

When I went to church this morning, this 30years old press cutting was pinned on the notice board.

I don’t know if you can read the write up but it shocked me to realise my DMIL was younger than I am now and my younger son is older than his Dad was then. Great we are still well enough to cycle. Praise God for this blessng.

  1. Neat!

  2. I meant to reply to this before but must have been distracted. Fabulous photo. Don’t they look young? I’ve got a picture of my gran and grandad on bikes, both are wearing plus fours.

  3. Thanks for the comment. I realised just what a good looker I married. DMIL never changed in looks throughout the years.
    Are you getting out lately?

  4. Hi Brenda. Can’t find an email address for you. About meet up. I shall be starting my long walk, Ellesmere Port to Scunthorpe on the 24th. Hoping to get a move on for the first five days, walking the bit I have already done, hoping to get finished by Easter Sunday. There might be an overlap there with yours and my plans. Depends how long you are going to be out for, and if you are still cycling when I get back. You might be heading back home by then. Keep in touch. Ilona
