one misty, moisty morning

when cloudy was the weather, I happen to be an old bird, cycling along the river.
That was a play on an old bit of nursery rhyme that came into my mind as I was out this morning. It was that fret we get here in the north east, not rain but you soon can get soaked through, so I had to jacket up soon after leaving home. It was good to be out as it wasn’t too cold.
Despite all this years unseasonal weather, there are many wild flowers in bloom. I took a few photos of the dog roses.

The smell from the magenta flowers is beautiful and much more powerful than the white ones. The ride set me up for the day.
