I hope to get the hang of this blog writing. I posted this photo of me taken in 2006 while on the NSCR. I had a Giant Cypress cycle that I had bought for £199 and the front carriers were homemade to hold Ortlieb dry bags I already had from kayaking.  This was a hybrid bike that we had equipped with Schwalbe Marathon plus tyres and we cycled the whole route without one puncture. What a great trip.
